Configuring the Y.E.S.! Accounting Interface

Initial configuration of the Y.E.S.! Accounting Interface requires only a few simple steps.

Configuring QuickBooks to work with Y.E.S.!(by default, the following features are turned ON):

• Allow QuickBooks to be updated from Y.E.S.!

• • In QuickBooks , go to the Edit menu, and click on Preferences.

  • Scroll down the left window and click on "Integrated Applications".

  • You should see an application named "Y.E.S.! Software!" listed. Check "Allow Access". Click on "OK".

• QuickBooks Sales Tax - For this interface to function properly, you must set the QuickBooks Sales Tax to "Y.E.S.! Sales Tax". This property is set from the QuickBooks Preferences menu, "Sales Tax", "most common sales tax" field.

• Sales Tax Vendor - Open the QuickBooks item list and double-click on"Y.E.S.! Sales Tax". Select "Y.E.S.! Tax Vendors" as the Tax Agency.
