If your business's item label printing needs are infrequent (less than 500 labels per day), you may not want to invest in a dedicated label printer. This screens gives you the ability to print a mixture of item labels utilizing commonly available, low cost, Avery-Dennison label sheets, without requiring you to purchase a dedicated label printer.
The "Select Item Labels to Print" screen shows you a listing of all of the items in your inventory sorted alphabetically and by category. From this listing you may select one or more items from which to print Item labels.
Clicking on the check box for a Category name will select all items and sub-categories within that category. Once an entire Category is selected, you may de-select individual items within that Category by un-checking the item(s) or sub-categories.
Select the label size that you want to use from the Label Type drop down listing (sorted by Avery-Dennision Part Number). Click here to view the complete listing (sorted by type).
Check boxes on this screen gives the user the ability to select which fields to print on the labels from the following options:
Item Name
Bar Code
Item ID (human readable version of bar code data)
Price
Bin Location
NOTE: Each field selected to be printed on the label will print on its own line. If the amount of information selected to be printed on the label cannot fit on the selected label size, a warning message similar to the following will appear, advising you to either change the information to be printed or choose a different label size.
Add Selected - The Items (left pane) selected are added to the list of Labels to be Printed (right pane) by clicking on the "Add Selected" button. All items are added with an initial quantity of one (1) label to be printed set.
The quantity of labels may be changed in two (2) ways:

The following dialogue will next appear, whether you used method #1 or method #2 above. You may either type in the quantity of labels, or use the arrow buttons to increase or decrease the quantity. Click on "OK" to accept the modifications, or "Cancel" or abort the quantity change.
Retain selection - Checking this box will not clear the selected items when you add selected items to the print list, in order that you may increase the quantity of labels to be printed without having to re-select them.
