Before you can post a web site on the Internet, you must establish an account with a web hosting service. A web hosting service provides space on an Internet web server for your web site. Contact your host provider or internet service provider (ISP) for more information about setting up a web site.
The Account Setup screen has three (3) horizontal tabs, as described below:
FTP Account
Mail Account
Proxy Settings
FTP Account - (File Transfer Protocol). FTP is the Internet protocol that is used to upload files to a server, as well as to modify or delete existing files on a server. When you sign up for an Internet server account, your hosting service will provide you with certain secure information that will be required in order to send or FTP files to your website. This is to prevent unauthorized persons from uploading or deleting files on your website.

When you sign up for an account with a web hosting service, you will receive a user name and password to identify yourself on the server. Enter your username and password into the Username and Password text boxes, respectively.
The FTP Server Address field is where you enter the domain name or other address of your website. A domain name is the name of a website on the Internet, for example "mywebsite.com". In lieu of a domain name, you may also enter the IP (Internet Protocol) address of your website, such as 123.123.123.123. Your web hosting service will always notify you of your actual IP address. Even if you have a domain name, you can always use the IP address to upload files to your website. Depending upon the hosting service that you utilize, there may be other address information that should be entered here. Therefore, you should always use the information your hosting service provides to access your website.
NOTE: The FTP Server Address field will become accessible when you purchase a full registration of the product. If you apply for a hosting account through YukonSoft's E-Commerce Partner, you will be able to upload to that hosting account, but the FTP Server Address field will still be inacccessible as shown above.
The Default Startup File is the name of the file that is loaded by default on your web server. Typically, the startup file name will either be "index.html", "index.htm", or "default.htm". Contact your web server administrator for more information.
The Public HTML Directory is the server's directory in which your web site will reside. Contact your web hosting service provider for more information about what directory you must use. Typically this field can be left blank.
Mail Accounts - The next information that must be entered, is information about your E-Mail account that will be used to receive orders from your website. We recommend that you utilize a separate E-Mail account from the one that you normally use for your everyday E-Mail messages.

Proxy Settings - If you utilize a proxy server within your organization in order to share internet access over your in-house network, you will need to specify your Proxy settings. If you have direct access to the internet from the computer that will be uploading to your website, such as via a modem, you do NOT need to make any entries in the Proxy Settings tab.

If your computer is behind a firewall or proxy server, click on the check box that says "Use Proxy Server."
Enter the name of the proxy server in the Proxy Server text box.
Enter the Proxy Server's port number in the text box labeled Port. For more information about your proxy server or firewall's settings, contact your in-house network administrator.
The "Apply for an Account" button will take you to our Partner's website where you may apply for a web host account if you do not already have one. Please note that all websites generated by the Y.E.S. Software Suite will function properly on ANY web host. The ability to sign up for web hosting through our Partner is provided for your convenience.
