Scheduling your Employees

Employee Schedules are used by Y.E.S.! Time and Attendance to determine who is punched in early or late and who is punched out early.   Employee punch in/out reports are generated by comparing actual log events against each Employee's Schedule.

 

 

ADDING AN EMPLOYEE TO THE SCHEDULE

 

Clicking on the "Add" button will open the following dialog from which you can add employees to the schedule.

 

 

You can select more than one employee at a time to be scheduled by clicking on the first employees name to be scheduled, then while holding down the SHIFT key, click on the last employee name to be scheduled.  By simply dragging your mouse cursor over a range of dates on the calendars on the right-hand side of the screen,  you can select up to four (4) months at a time.

 

 

 

Key Functions on this Screen:

 

 

 

Each employee may be scheduled for a maximum of two separate periods each day in order to allow for split shifts.  To prevent duplicate schedules for the same employee, if this employee has already been scheduled for this time period, you will receive the following prompt:

 

 

 

EDITING A SCHEDULED EMPLOYEE'S HOURS

 

Selecting a scheduled employee and clicking on the "Edit" button will open the following dialog from which you can change the employee's scheduled hours.

The only option available from the File Menu, is to Exit the Scheduler screen.

 

Reports Menu

 

 

There are two (2) reports available from the Reports menu of the Employee Scheduler:

Access to this help system may also be reached at any time by pressing the "F1" key.
